Our Iconic Barossa Home
With a rich food, wine and cultural history dating back to 1842, the Barossa Valley is one of the most historic wine-producing regions in Australia. There are now seven, and some eighth generation grape growing families in the Barossa Valley, who are the custodians of Australia’s (and arguably the world’s) largest collection of old vines.
Benbullen Retreat is nestled in the centre of this beautiful region, set amongst the vines and valley. Once home to goldfields, the property now encompasses a beautiful homestead and two modern pavilions, that overlook the picturesque valley.
Discover our experiences
From hosted wine tastings, make-your-own gin experiences and cooking classes, to long lunches, day spa escapes, bush hikes and peaceful yoga classes, the Barossa is well and truly alive with a vast array of memorable experiences.
What our guests say about us
We loved our stay at Benbullen Retreat. The property is perfect and so well looked after inside and out, very clean. Amazing views and stars at night time. Really spacious, plenty of bedrooms, comfy beds, great bathrooms and quality linen. The manager Ken was really responsive to questions we had during our stay and couldn’t have done more to help.
We’d recommend and will definitely be staying again.
Stunning location with magical views. The property has everything you need for a getaway with friends. The property manager was very helpful with any queries we had.
